Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SentimentFX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
About us
The Service is operated by SentimentFX Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC886719. Our registered address is 35 Fallside Road, Bothwell, G71 8BA.
Description of service
SentimentFX provides a crypto sentiment analysis dashboard and developer API. The Service scrapes financial news, scores it using AI models, and correlates sentiment data against cryptocurrency prices.
Not financial advice
The information provided by SentimentFX is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice. Correlation is not causation. Past sentiment patterns do not guarantee future price movements.
You should not make investment decisions based solely on data from SentimentFX. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.
API usage
- API keys are personal and must not be shared or resold
- You may not use the API to build a competing sentiment data product without prior written consent
- You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
- We reserve the right to suspend API access for abuse or non-payment
Billing
Free API keys include 1,000 API calls per 30-day window at no charge. A window starts with the key's first counted call and lasts 30 days; the next window starts with the first counted call after that. Pro and Data subscriptions include 15,000 and 200,000 API calls respectively per calendar month (UTC), and are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Annual subscriptions include the same allowance each month. Unused calls do not carry over.
Some requests count as more than one API call, for example one call per day of data or per 25 headlines returned, as set out in the API documentation. Requests that return no data are not counted.
API usage is never billed per call. Requests beyond a key's included allowance are refused until the allowance refills. A higher allowance can be requested through the developer portal; whether to grant it, and on what terms, is at our discretion.
All charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API key. You must notify us immediately at hello@sentimentfx.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime or data inaccuracies.
Intellectual property
The SentimentFX platform, branding, and software are owned by SentimentFX Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or API keys where the holder violates these terms, engages in abuse, or fails to pay for a subscription.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SentimentFX Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
